JAX BEACH PIER

Located at the intersection of 4th Avenue North and the Atlantic Ocean, the Jacksonville Beach Fishing Pier is almost a quarter of a mile long and the end of the pier is T-shaped. Meet the wonderful Oceanfront Park found at 1st Street South between 5th and 6th Avenue. Oceanfront Park spans over 2 acres (0.8 hectares), and it’s totally suitable for families and big tourist groups searching for some calmness and tranquility outside of the central parts of the busy city. You can spend your free time with your children playing and running around. Also, there are special picnic areas and many exciting walking paths. What’s more, there is a children’s playground alongside a beach volleyball court, so if you are keen on the sport, you can learn the rules pretty quickly.

CASTAWAY ISLAND PRESERVE

Castaway Island Preserve is located in Jacksonville, and the length of the place is about 0.9 miles (1.4 km) long. The noteworthy Cradle Creek Preserve is located on the corner of South 15th Street and Fairway Lane.
